Once the design is approve and you’ve chosen your accessories, our craftsman measure the space to ensure we have all the information we need to start making your brand new bespoke kitchen.

Craft

Your design is then taken to our production facility, where we make each individual component ourselves. From doors to cornices, your new kitchen hand-painted and prepared for installation.
Install Kitchen

Install

On the agreed date, we bring the finished kitchen to you and install it in your home. Our craftsmen will build every unit, maticulously quality checking every panel and bracket, so its ready for you to enjoy.

Every Culshaw Shaker kitchen is handmade in the UK by skilled craftspeople, with every element carried out in the Lancashire workshop. Rather than assembling pre-made units, each bespoke kitchen is built from the ground up, with individual components crafted specifically for the project.
The timescale for a bespoke Shaker kitchen reflects the level of craftsmanship involved. The design phase allows time to fully understand the space, refine proportions, and tailor every detail to the client’s needs. Once the design is approved, production takes place in our workshop, where each component is made, finished, and prepared for installation.
Support does not end at installation. Culshaw Kitchens provides a Craftsman’s Warranty that covers cabinetry against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten years from production. If any adjustments are required after installation, support is handled in line with this warranty. The warranty applies to bespoke cabinetry units and does not cover appliances, sinks, taps, or worktops, which remain under their respective manufacturers’ warranties. Yes. Every Shaker kitchen we create is completely bespoke, designed and built specifically for the home it belongs in. Cabinet dimensions, layouts, storage solutions, and finishes are all tailored to the space and the way it is used. We build each handmade kitchen from scratch in our Lancashire workshop. Each Shaker kitchen is designed and built to order in Lancashire, with no standard cabinet sizes, layouts, or fixed specifications.
Cabinet carcasses are constructed from German-manufactured melamine MDF, selected for its strength, moisture resistance, and long-term stability. Shaker doors are made from hydrofugo MDF, a modern material chosen for its superior resistance to twisting and cracking compared to traditional solid timber doors. Cabinet frames are produced from tulipwood, which provides excellent structural strength and is particularly well suited to securely connecting cabinetry. Quartz worktops are specified in collaboration with Finch’s Granite, a trusted local supplier, offering durability, consistency, and refined finish options.
